Hello!
My name is Ihne Gulbrandsen, and I’m 22 years old. I am an exchange student from Norway, and will be here at CityHearts for three months now to do my practical work.
I’m doing a bachelor’s degree in child protection and child welfare, so that means I get to work in the child protection services when I’m done. It’s my final year now, so I will be done very soon.
While I’m here, I want to gain as much insight I can, on how social work is done here in the US, and also how the system works. I want to both help and learn from other people, and meet new people and families with kindness and respect.
