Hello everyone! My name is Gjorn Portem, and I am one of the new interns here at CityHeART! I am a fourth year Psychology major at CSULB, and my goal is to pursue graduate school for School Psychology. I will be applying to graduate programs this semester, so wish me luck! I am super grateful to be partnered with CityHeART as I am given the opportunity to work with and learn from a great group of people who are passionate about making a difference in other people’s lives, just like me! I am most excited about getting involved and learning about the communities that I will be serving as I try to provide resources and services to best support their needs. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my dogs and playing/watching basketball.
