I am a 23-year-old girl from Norway, here in Long Beach through my studies. I’m in my final year of a bachelor’s degree in child welfare and will be staying at CityHeART for 3 months. I’m very excited about the work at CityHeART and hope I can make a difference during my visit. I’m a social person who enjoys spending time with both friends and new people. I’m looking forward to learning more about the culture here in the USA and gaining new experiences that I can carry with me in life. I hope I can use these impressions and experiences from the USA in my future education and work in Norway. I love crafting and having something creative to work on, and right now I’m into knitting and crocheting. This picture is me with my national costume (Bunad).
