Our mission has always been to ignite healing and empowerment through heART-forward programming, supporting individuals and families navigating trauma, food insecurity, housing instability, and systemic inequities.
From holding safe spaces for connection to providing essential resources and celebrating lived experiences, CityHeART is where YOUConnect to healing, stability, and empowerment.
As we reflect on Ten Years of Saying YES, we are expanding our scope to meet the growing needs of Long Beach. This includes a long-term commitment to supporting those impacted by the LA fires and sustaining the essential resources offered through our CityHeART Resource Hub:

- HeARTy Foods – Weekly grocery distributions for families, Veterans, and seniors, experiencing food insecurity in Long Beach
- Veterans Homefront HeARTLine – Dedicated resources for Veterans navigating housing and food insecurity in Long Beach
- HeART to Home – Immediate access to physical resources, household essentials, personal care items, AND long-term support for those impacted by LA fires in the Long Beach area
- WholeHeART WholeHealth – A weekly physical wellness and mental health clinic FREE to Veterans, seniors, and families that includes educational workshops, health screenings, care coordination, and art-based group/family/couples therapy provided by supervised trainees.
