What do you do with marshmallows, spaghetti, tape, & string?!

By CityHeART’s Art from Ashes

This month’s Villages at Cabrillo Community Meeting was a blast! Shoutouts to these five CityHeART interns who rocked a super fun and very silly set of activities:

  • Isarel
  • Tuva
  • Karoline
  • Ihne
  • Patrick

Armed with 20 strands of dry spaghetti, a single large marshmallow, one piece of string, and a few pieces of tape, each table of community members was challenges with creating the tallest, free-standing tower in a matter of minutes!

Each intern worked with a table of 3-7 members of the Villages community, and the towers were works of art and silliness!

We love bringing opportunities to the community for team-building, collaboration, creativity, and positivity. After the spaghetti tower challenge, each community member at the meeting created Halloween-themed paper-creatures that will be hung up at the annual Haunted Hub, which is part of the Century Villages at Cabrillo Fall Festival!

Do you want to volunteer with us this Fall Festival as part of the Haunted Hub?! You can sign up to help with set-up, clean-up, or be part of the SCARE CREW!
