Thanks for listening to CityHeART Radio! This week on Fri-YAY, I talked a bit about storytelling and shared quite a bit about what I have been affectionately calling the newest storytelling event in town. The What’s Your ISM? Storytelling Night at ISM Brewing in Downtown Long Beach on the Promenade did not disappoint on Thursday night! It was an incredible line-up of storytellers, and I cannot wait to go back next month — the fourth Thursday of every month at 7pm.
This week’s episode of Voices from THE HUB also featured a segment of OFF-SCRIPT! with Izzy Matos, and we took a deep dive into everything St. Paddy’s Day in honor of entering the new month.
I closed the episode with a poem of mine called Grown Ass Woman in honor of Women’s History Month and then let the uninterrupted music flow through the end of the show.
