I have developed a love and hobby of visiting different coffee shops. At first, it just started with me wanting to try matcha from various places. However, it became much more than that. I realized that coffee shops are such important spots to keep a community alive. Whenever I need a catch-up session with loved ones, coffee shops are my first suggestion for its welcoming environment. Even when I need a study spot, I like to head to coffee shops for its bustling atmosphere as background noise to keep me focused. It gives me an excuse to be outside to get work done rather than being cooped up in my home all day. Overall, the joy of visiting coffee shops reminds me to try something new everyday, even if it is something as small as trying a new drink!
As I have become more acquainted with Long Beach, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting local coffee shops. Here are just a few that have a special place in my heart whether it is for the memories, food, or drinks!

I also thought I would add some honorable mentions of coffee shops outside of Long Beach as well. Although these are outside of Long Beach, they are around the area. Feel free to explore to your heart’s desire!
