Sometimes, music can explain how I’m feeling more than my own words. As I start my last semester at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), I want to start reflecting on my time in Long Beach. I have learned and grown so much within my time here. When there is so much reflection to do, I often get stuck with my own words. I have too many emotions that I cannot write or express.
That’s when music comes in for me. Music allows me to get more into tune with my emotions as the lyrics and sounds can often resonate with me. I have thus created a playlist that sums up my time in Long Beach (will be listed below)! All of the good, bad, and everything in between. I encourage everything to use music as an emotional outlet.
