The Long Beach Health Department invites high school students to participate in a dynamic 4-week summer program to tackle major health risks faced by teens.
Gain valuable skills in communication, leadership, and community advocacy, and earn a certificate and service hours!

- June 26 | Cannabis & Vaping 101: Understand the impact of cannabis and vaping on teen health.
- July 3 | Traffic Safety & Equity : Learn why teens are at higher risk for traffic crashes and how risky behaviors affect communities.
- July 10 | Mental Health & Healthy Coping Strategies: Discover healthy ways to manage stress and understand the risks associated with substance use and risky driving.
- July 17 | Teen Influencer: Plan a community project to educate others and promote safety messages.
